Lonesome Dove

Malachi and I have been spending a lot of time at home. My car isn't exactly up to par at the moment and Sean's gone. I'm feeling a little lonely. I can't wait to get out to Idaho and be able to talk to some adults. I'm really lonesome for some adult interaction. We will be fixing the minor problems with the car so I can drive to Idaho. The gauges stop working and there's a radiator leak. We'll also be getting new tires on the front of the car. We expected a few problems since we only paid $1500 for the car.

Malachi is into everything as usual. Today he pulled a chair off of the dining room table and it smacked him in the ear....all while he was in timeout for going outside (without me and sneaking out the sliding glass door). I'm going later today to get something to put in the sliding glass door so he can't open it. He's getting ready to potty train...I've been having him sit on the potty. He doesn't stay there very long. He's learned to climb on top of the tv (not a good idea) to get whatever he wants off the mantle. Again this is an activity that he gets time out for. Poor kid is spending more time in timeout than playing. He's very strong...he moved the loveseat across the room all by himself with just his legs.
We're working on the English language this week. He's been saying ball, boy, and juice. However he still calls me Dad. Oh well he'll get it eventually.

Sean is doing well in Indiana. He doesn't get much time to talk to us, but he calls whenever he can. They're working 7 days a week.
Sorry there isn't more exciting news. We hope all of you are doing well. Have a great weekend.
