Malachi went with me to my 16 week appointment. We thought we would be getting another ultrasound so I was totally surprised when we didn't have one. I had even told Malachi we'd be getting a picture of the baby. They found the heartbeat and it was 160, last time it was 162. Malachi kept saying It's ok It's ok when they were using the Doppler on me I think he thought they were hurting me. It was sweet. He was really good at the appointment and didn't have any major breakdowns until we were out of the office.
I had to sign up for Secretarial Designee. Basically it allows me as a dependent spouse to stay at the base hospital for my entire pregnancy even after Sean has gotten out of the army. We are very blessed and so thankful to be able to be a part of this program.

Congratulations Chelsea! So, it appears that you'll have this new little one by Christmas?? That's neat. It's nice that Malachi will have a sibling. I had my baby six weeks ago and Ashley is still adjusting. She turned three exactly one week before Kristen was born. I'm sure there will be a little bit of jealousy from Malachi, but that's normal!
